Our client, a leading engineering solutions company has two (2) direct positions available for a Field Service Engineer based in New Orleans, LA.
Successful candidate will be the Site Support Representative working with the end user client to ensure continuous operation of their Automation System.
Job Responsibilities:
Use electrical and controls knowledge and experience to aid in the troubleshooting and maintenance of Automation Systems and Interface Devices.
Work with the end user customer to understand their needs and problems for resolution.
Technically support the Automation Systems consisting of Modicon PLCs, Wonderware and ICS Triplex.
Requirements:
2 Yr Degree and 5 years minimum experience maintaining control systems
Working knowledge of Modicon PLCs (ProWORX, Unity)
Refining Industry experience
Proficient in reading and understanding of control and electrical wiring diagrams
Understanding of basic PLC programming skills ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, make software changes and download new software releases
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot field interface devices pressure, temp, etc.
All work will be done on-site no travel required
Ability to be on call during support rotation of site.
